Do Attendees always have to provide their email address to enter meeting?

I have noticed that when someone is attending the meeting invite I send, they are asked to provide their email address and supply a password.  What is this information used for?  Some people say they are hesitate to do this task.

Also, is there a way that I can provide a password for users entering meeting or is this always taken care of from the invite status mode.

Thanks

Hi,

Yes, they have to register if you set that option when you invite them. The default is to allow anyone who gets the invitation email to come in your meeting, but if you disable that, then they have to register to join your meeting.

If you don’t want to force them to register, don’t uncheck the box when creating the invitation. The checkbox is labeled “User can forward invite”, and if you uncheck it, red text appears underneath it telling you “User will be forced to login/register with Vyew”.

If you want to have a shared password for the entire meeting, when inside your VyewBook, click the ‘Book’ menu and select ‘VyewBook Settings’. Change the Access Control to ‘Invites Only’, then it will allow you to set a password.

Need a bit more info and help on this.  I have used the “invite now” during a session and I get the prompt that allows me to either request a password or not.  However, when I am scheduling a meeting in the future, I don’t see this option.  What am I missing?

Thanks :P
