The first time I imported a tiny power point, it worked great.
But when i tried uploading a larger one, but still only 990 KB, it wouldn’t take it.
Now, I can’t import either one!

I’ve had problems with PPT as well.  First one was great, but now I’m trying to upload an updated version of the same powerpoint into a new VyewBook.  It tells me that it succeeds, but then doesn’t create a new book.  I made a new book by hand, and tried importing there, and that time it worked, but imported the old version of the PPT file.  Do I really have to delete the file before uploading another one with the same name, even if done to a new VyewBook?  That’s a pretty surprising limitation if true…

EDIT: Ok, I’ve deleted the other VyewBook (and therefore the previous PPT), and it’s still uploading the old version of the PPT.  What gives?  This is preventing me from continuing with my project...which is a pretty big problem.  :(

I’m not certain, but I may have found an answer.  Does Vyew support Firefox?  I was trying to upload in Firefox and got the problems listed above.  I switched over to IE, and suddenly it worked perfectly.  To the OP - have you tried using IE?

We do support firefox, and normally things run better in firefox.
To anthony and jim.
Please email the files you had problems with to support [ at ] vyew [ dot ] com.
Address the subject: “To TIM: these files failing download”

anthony, also describe in the email that it works in IE but not FF.

I am also having trouble importing ppt. I uploads OK, but part of the image is cropped off. I tried converting the ppt to a pdf. When I uploaded the pdf, i view sideways.
