Vyew on Chrome OS

I am the director of online learning for a school that is considering providing Chrome OS Netbooks to all of our full time students around the world. I am looking for a virtual meeting solution that will run on Chrome OS. The sticking point is Java, which is not supported by Chrome OS.

Will Vyew run on Chrome OS and if so, are there any function limitations due to lack of Java support (No VOIP is a common issue without Java).

I am looking for a simple video/tutorial for students to view on how to use vyew. highlight the key areas of asking quesitons, web/mic, using the pencil, raising the hands, ect..

Does this exist?

I own a school and would like to give teachers the opportunity to use your software to offer webinars to students. I would like to avoid giving my credentials for teachers by creating a sub-account, is this possible?

We provide online IT Training - 3rd parties watch our desktop. Currently using VNC but it needs the VNC client on 3rd party system. (or use web VNC on port 5800 - often blocked by firewall.)

We use multiple screens so the 3rd party sees only the 2nd or 3rd screen.

Can vyew be set to do this? If not now is it likely in the future?

Equation editor plug-in

When I insert an equation into a page the equation editor banner stays with the equation and is in the way of other text/drawings. Is there a way to have that hidden?

I have checked the forum and there is a description on changing the password, unfortunately under my account settings there is no password field. I’m using the free 4.0 version.
