Vyew 2.5 Overview


Vyew 2.5 is another giant leap in the evolution of Vyew. Vyew 2.5 makes Vyew relevant throughout the life-cycle of authoring, managing, collaborating on, and publishing content.

Our focus for this release has been improving how users manage content inside Vyew. We’ve also added several user-requested features and have added printing and publishing capabilities. Finally, Vyew is more customizable than ever.


SUMMARY OF WHAT’S NEW IN VYEW 2.5


New Home and File Browsers
New tab navigation system lets you more easily explore your VyewBooks and files, and also see a listing of other user’s VyewBooks you’ve been invited to.

Invitations and Permissions to Individual VyewBooks
You can now invite and set user permissions to individual VyewBooks. This allows you to share specific content with select audiences only - in real-time as well as asynchronously over time.

Desktop Sharing Tab
We’ve added a Desktop Sharing tab to allow faster access to this feature and help you keep static presentation content separate from live desktop streams.

Custom Color Themes and Custom Ads
Users can now customize the colors of the Vyew user interface and add their own branding elements. All users can choose from standard color scheme options, and subscribers can design their own Custom Color Theme as well as add their own Custom Ad such as their company logo to the top of the Vyew UI (optional).

External Publishing via 'Vyewlets'
You can now publish any of your VyewBooks and embed them as a ‘Vyewlet’ inside any Web page – your web site, blog, MySpace, and even email.

Printing
You can now print any of your VyewBooks.

VyewScripts – Hyperlinks & Pop-up Messages
You can now add a hyperlink to any object (except plug-ins) on a page: Hyperlink to different pages, another VyewBook, or a Web page. You can also add pop-up messages.

Multi-Language Support
Non-English and non-Latin-based characters such as those of Asian, Cyrillic, Arabic and other languages now resolve properly inside Vyew, making Vyew more functional to users across the globe using localized keyboards.
